About the festival

The Holi Color Festival is celebrated in India as a spring festival. It takes place in late February - early March at the full moon.

All over India on this day, people shower each other with bright colors, pour others over with colored water, give each other gifts, sweets, and treats. Everywhere congratulations are heard: "Happy Holi!".

There are many legends connected with the Holi, and it is celebrated differently in different cities and villages of India, but one thing remains unchanged: it brings people together. This holiday calls to bury hatches and greet each other with warmth and joy.
