July 9 Shri Prakash Ji holds Maha Yagya in Moscow Region
Dear friends, lovers of Indian spiritual culture! We are glad to announce that on July 9 Spiritual Master Shri Prakash Ji will hold Maha Yagya in the Moscow Region.
Yagya (skt. यज्ञ yajña) is an ancient Vedic prayer by fire. The prefix "Maha" means "big", "great".
Purposes of Maha Yagya:
- prosperity for Russia;
- building friendship between peoples of Russia and India;
- peace and tranquility throughout the world;
- welfare for each participant of the prayer.
If you want to do something good for yourself, for your family, for the whole world, this prayer will definitely give results.
The ceremony of yagya is mentioned in the earliest scriptures of Hinduism. Yagyas were conducted by heroes of Mahabharata and Ramayana. Various events related to the ritual of yagya are described in the Puranas and other sacred books.
The tradition of yagya figures prominently among customs of modern India as well. No significant event in one's live goes without the ceremony of yagya or havana. Yagyas are held to achieve success in an important business, on the occasion of a wedding, birth of a child, etc.
In Russia you can get acquainted with this tradition and become its participant, too. For more than 16 years, Spiritual Master Shri Prakash Ji has been annually holding yagyas on the day of yogini Ekadashi. Every year people come to the ashram of Shri Prakash Ji located in the Moscow region to take part in this Vedic ceremony; they come from numerous regions of Russia, as well as from other countries: Lithuania, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Germany and Great Britain.
Venue of Maha Yagya: Moscow region, Odintsovo district, Chastsy, Mozhayskoye Highway, 40 "G". The place is located 35 km from Moscow Ring Road, near Golitsyno station, if going towards Belarus.
