In the ancient times there lived a family, a husband and a wife, who had no children. They had a Spiritual Master, to whom they came for advice and blessing. The Master always spoke with them, helped them, gave his blessings, but when it came to husband and wife's future children, he remained silent.
Long time ago there lived a king. A rumour reached him that a very good, honest and wise man lives in the forest of his kingdom. The King had heard about him many times and one fine day he decided to meet him.
There once was a King and he had an advisor, who really believed in God. Whatever happened, the advisor always kept saying, “Everything that happens is for the Better. God arranges everything in a good and wise way: if we attain something, that's good, if we don't, even better.
Once upon a time there lived a king. He had a minister, rather a wise knowledgeable person. He helped a king to solve every important problem and never did he fail to find the right answer.
In one village there hasn’t been rain for a very long time. The crops on the fields perished without water and very long the people of this village had not had any food for them and the pet food either.
Once the Teacher Kabirdas went on the road passing by a village and heard two women arguing about something. Coming nearer he asked, “What happened, what are you arguing about?”
There lived a boy called Panini. Everybody thought him to be very silly. He did not possess the slightest wish to study. Even if he came to school, he all the same slept in classes most of the time.
Once two men came to Krishna to get blessing – one of them poor and the second – rich.
In His childhood Krishna had got a friend Sudama. He was from a poor brahman family. Krishna and Sudama studied together at the same teacher Sandipani. Sudama loved Krishna very much.
In former times there lived a young man. He was rather interested in spiritual knowledge and especially he was fond of Bhagavad-Gita. He clearly saw to what an extent this book is deep and extensive, though it is rather short. So, he was eager to write a commentary on it in order its deep sense was clear to the many.
There lived two sadhaks. Powerful and ambitious was their sadhana, and they both desired to achieve God very sincerely. One of them had been practicing for twenty years, and the second – for two years.
